Oregon Trail - Blue Mountain Crossing Segment |

A short way off of Interstate Highway 84 near La Grande is a segment of the Oregon Trail preserved in a small park. Here the nineteenth century pioneers strggled over the Blue Mountains on their way to Western Oregon. Today one can walk in their footsteps and see one of the wagons that they used to transport all of their worldly goods on their five to six month trip across the western half of the country. |
